Our Fungus Positive Control FFPE Slides are high-quality tissue sections derived from FVB mice lungs infected with fungal pathogens. Slide Preparation
Lung tissue from FVB mice infected with fungus was fixed in formalin for 24 hours immediately after excision. The tissue was then processed, embedded in paraffin, and sectioned at a thickness of 5 μm. Each section was mounted on a positively charged glass slide.
Quality Control
At least one of the tissue slides from the block was stained with Grocott-Gomori’s Methenamine Silver (GMS) Staining and PAS to ensure the quality.
