Labeled Nucleotides

VitroVivo has available 5′-aminoallyl dUTP and UTP analogs, as well as conjugates with biotin and various fluorescent dyes, which indicates our very  bright and photostable Andy Fluor dyes.

Fluorescent and biotin-labeled dUTP and UTP are widely applied for enzymatic incorporation into DNA or RNA.

Biotin-11-dUTP can be enzymatically incorporated into DNA via nick translation, random priming. The number ’11’ is the number of atoms in the linker between biotin and dUTP. The resulting amine-containing DNA can be subsequently labeled with a fluorescent dye, biotin or other haptens via conventional peptide coupling methods.
