FFPE Blocks and Sections

Formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) samples are highly useful in identifying the localization of DNA, RNA, and proteins in cells. The process of making paraffin tissue blocks and sections involves excising tissues, immediately fixing them in formalin, processing, embedding, sectioning, staining, and finally identifying them pathologically. The resulting paraffin-embedded tissue sections, with a thickness of 4-5 µm, are mounted on positively charged glass slides.

VitroVivo Biotech provides high-quality human and animal FFPE blocks and section tissue slides, which can be used for routine H&E staining, IHC, IF, FISH, and ISH. Additionally, we offer positive control slides for your histopathology experiments.

Our FFPE samples are ideal for various applications such as the localization of mRNA and protein, identification of tumor markers and disease-specific genes, detection of novel genes and protein markers, and IHC and ISH studies. We also offer control slides for immunohistochemistry experiments.
