Description
Our Positive Control FFPE Slides for In Situ Collagen Detection are expertly prepared to support reliable and reproducible analysis of collagen expression in tissue. These slides feature formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections known to exhibit robust collagen presence, making them ideal for validating staining protocols, optimizing assay conditions, and serving as reference controls in histological and molecular studies. Each 5 μm section is mounted on positively charged glass slides, ensuring high-quality adhesion and compatibility with a wide range of detection methods, including Picrosirius red, Masson’s trichrome staining, in situ hybridization, and immunohistochemistry.
Slide Preparation
Liver tissue from FVB fibrosis mouse model was fixed in formalin for 24 hours immediately after excision. The tissue was then processed, embedded in paraffin, and sectioned at a thickness of 5 μm. Each section was mounted on a positively charged glass slide.
Quality Control
At least one of the tissue slides from the FFPE block was performed with Picro-Sirius Red and Masson’s trichrome staining
