Human Tissue FFPE Blocks

Formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) is a method that is used to preserve tissue samples that are extensively used in various research. It helps to preserve the cellular details and morphology of the tissue samples. To make FFPE tissue blocks. tissues are fixed by formalin, processed in tissue processor and then embedded in paraffin (wax).

Applications:
1. Make section slides for routine H&E staining,  special staining, FISH, IHC and RNAscope ISH.
2. Proteins, RNA and DNA extraction for proteomics research or next generation sequencing.
