Polymer Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP)-Conjugated Secondary Antibodies

Secondary Antibody Polymer HRP is a reagent used in various immunoassays, such as ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) and immunohistochemistry. HRP stands for Horseradish Peroxidase, an enzyme that catalyzes a colorimetric or chemiluminescent reaction to visualize the presence of a target antigen. The “polymer” part refers to the secondary antibody being linked to a polymeric structure with multiple HRP molecules. This design enhances signal detection by increasing the enzyme’s density at the site of the antigen-antibody complex, leading to a more intense and easily detectable signal with low background.
