Description
The VitroView™ FFPE DePar & ReHydra Kit provides a convenient and efficient method for removing paraffin from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections in preparation for immunohistochemical (IHC) staining, as well as RNA/DNA isolation.

Protocols
A. For FFPE Tissue Sections – Slide Staining
- Deparaffinization: Xylene – 6 minutes x 2.
- Rehydration: 100% Alcohol – 2 minutesd x2; 95% Alcohol – 2 minutes x 2.
- Final Step: Rinse in deionized (DI) water – 2 minutes
B. For FFPE Tissue Sections – RNA/DNA Isolation
- Deparaffinization: Xylene – 6 minutes x2.
- Rehydration: 100% Alcohol – 2 minutes x2.
- Final Step: Air dry thoroughly before collecting tissue sections into eppendorf tube from slides for RNA/DNA isolation.
C. For FFPE Tissue Scrolls (in Tube) – RNA/DNA Isolation
- Add 1 ml Xylene to the tube containing 1-4 tissue scrolls at thickness of 6-10µm. Incubate at 37°C for 5 minutes.
- Centrifuge at full speed for 5 minutes.
- Discard the supernatant and retain the pellet.
- Add 1 ml of 100% Alcohol and incubate at 37°C for 1 minute.
- Centrifuge at full speed for 5 minutes.
- Discard the supernatant and retain the pellet.
- Air dry thoroughly before proceeding with RNA/DNA extraction.

- This product is intended for research use only. Not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures in humans or animals.
- Handle reagents with care. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing.
- Do not ingest.
- Always wear appropriate protective equipment, such as gloves and safety goggles.
- Perform the experiment in chemical hood.
