Description

VitroView™ Mayer’s Hematoxylin Solution is a premium, ready-to-use histological staining reagent optimized for both immunohistochemistry (IHC) counterstaining and routine Hematoxylin and Eosin (H&E) procedures. This chemically formulated, progressive stain precisely colors cell nuclei crisp blue without staining the cytoplasm, eliminating the need for acid alcohol differentiation.

 Key Features

  • Sharp Contrast: Delivers brilliant blue nuclear visualization against pink/red cytoplasmic counterstains.
  • Progressive Staining: Prevents over-staining, removing the requirement for an acid-alcohol differentiation step.
  • Ready-to-Use: Formulated for immediate application to streamline laboratory workflows.
  • Water-Based Formula: Alcohol-free composition prevents the dissolution of alcohol-soluble chromogens (e.g., AEC).
  • Versatile Application: Validated for frozen sections, paraffin-embedded tissue blocks, and cytological preparations.

Ideal For

  • IHC Counterstaining: Perfect for standard nuclear visualization alongside AEC or DAB chromogens.
  • Routine H&E Staining: High-throughput diagnostic and research histology.
