FFPE Block Preparation
Tissue is prepared by a certified histotechnologist under the supervision of a medical pathologist. FFPE block preparation: Tissues are excised, immediately fixed in 10% neutral formalin for 24 hours, processed in an automatic tissue processor, and embedded in paraffin. The target FFPE specimen size can vary significantly depending on the organ.
