Description
The DYKDDDDK Tag (Flag® Tag) Positive Control FFPE Slides are specially prepared formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections designed to serve as validated positive controls for in situ detection of the DYKDDDDK epitope, commonly known as the Flag® tag. The DYKDDDDK sequence is a widely used epitope tag in molecular biology for tracking, purifying, and detecting recombinant proteins.
These control slides feature tissue expressing a Flag-tagged protein, enabling researchers to optimize and validate immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunofluorescence (IF), or other in situ detection protocols. By providing a reliable positive control, these slides ensure the specificity and sensitivity of anti-Flag antibodies and help distinguish true signal from background staining.
Ideal for assay development, troubleshooting, or quality control, the DYKDDDDK Tag Positive Control FFPE Slides support reproducible and accurate detection of Flag-tagged proteins in tissue-based studies.
Slide Preparation
Liver tissue from : DYKDDDDK Tag (Flag tag) transgene rat was fixed in formalin for 24 hours immediately after excision. The tissue was then processed, embedded in paraffin, and sectioned at a thickness of 5 μm. Each section was mounted on a positively charged glass slide.
Quality Control
At least one tissue slide from this FFPE block was subjected to DYKDDDDK Tag (Flag tag) immunohistochemistry staining.
Section/slide
1 section on each slide
Package Size
5 slides per package
Applications
Positive Control FFPE Slides for in situ DYKDDDDK Tag (Flag tag) detection, such as DYKDDDDK Tag (Flag tag) IHC/IF or DYKDDDDK Tag (Flag tag) RNAscope ISH.
Storage
Store at 2-8ºC
